Description: GGG Ground Services (Jamaica) Limited, a subsidiary of GGG Group, is seeking to identify a Human Resources Officer to be a part of its dynamic team of professionals catering to the needs of over 400 team members.

The Position:

The Human Resources Officer will be based in Montego Bay and will be required to increase the efficiency of the department by supporting senior management in managing the team members.

Duties under this portfolio include:
  • Interviewing and selecting of competent team members
  • Planning and coordinating of Human Resources activities
  • Maintaining an up to date computerized and manual Human Resource database system of all team members
  • The dissemination of adequate and relevant information to the team 
  • Aid in developing strategic objectives for the company.
  • Excellent command of English Language both spoken and written
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the Labour laws of Jamaica
  • Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
  •  A high level of confidentiality, reliability, initiative and flexibility 
  • Excellent team player skills
  • Competence in the use of Human Resource Management Information System and previous work experience in a similar capacity would be an asset
  • Ability to travel intra-island
