As our Reservations Manager, you will manage a highly effective Hotel Reservations team. Professionally and effectively handle customer inquiries. Convert sales opportunities that emerge with guests as well as customer interactions that may contribute to hotel profitability. In general, you’ll be creating rate plans, loading rates into the property management system and working with the revenue manager to boost occupancy and the average achieved room rate.

Core Work Activity & Preferred Qualifications:
• Work with Sales and Marketing strategic sales plan
• Manage the Reservations Department to meet and exceed budgeted targets
• Monitor revenue variance, constantly, to identify areas of concern and build an approach to maximize revenue
• Develop accounts, proactively, and coach the Sales Team to develop accounts successfully
• Seek opportunities, actively, to increase revenue
• Liaising with travel agents, the revenue manager and the rooms division manager
• Liaising with travel agents, the revenue manager and the rooms division manager
• Forecasting revenue streams
• Maintaining the in-house reservations systems
• Understand the competitive marketplace through analysis of trends and data and build a strategic approach to manage trends
• Develop the Reservations Team to ensure the constant delivery of excellent Guest and customer service
