Fathers. An essential yet underappreciated part of the family. Not anymore! On Sunday, June 17, 2018, the Mandeville Y Service Club will be hosting a Father’s Day concert titled, “To Dad With Love” under the patronage of Mr. Wayne Chen, Chairman of Southern Regional Health Authority.   This celebration, open to the public, scheduled to be held at Bishop Gibson High School is to support Mandeville Y Service Club charities and to install security cameras in the town centre.

The afternoon commences with a car show and display by 876StreetGear and Wilmotorsports followed by a concert. Our featured performers at this event will be The ASHE Company and the DeCarteret College Choir. ASHE which 25 years old this year, has won more than 20 international awards for excellence and shares the same burning passion for community development and social transformation through the arts as the Mandeville Y Service Club. Having performed throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, North America, Africa, Asia and Europe, ASHE has used our traditional culture to educate as well as entertain audiences throughout the world. ASHE says, “We are incredibly excited to share our birthday with the fathers in Mandeville. To Dad with Love is such an amazing demonstration of the love that should be shown to fathers.” Alongside them, will be Amaziyah The Great, Annunciation Basic School, Holmwood Choir, the Mandeville Junior High Culture Club and the Bishop Gibson High Culture Club among others.
